Crawler crane gets the job done!

The mechanical crawler cranes are very important lifting machines, especially for the construction sector, because without them the lifting operations of heavy loads and materials would seem impossible. There are different mechanical crawler crane models on the market, and every type is used for specific lifting operation. When speaking about how the mechanical crawler crane works, there are three main considerations. First, the mechanical crawler crane must be capable of lifting the total weight of the load or material; second, the crane must remain stable during the lifting operation, avoiding tipping over; third, the mechanical crawler crane must not rupture.

Generally, a mechanical crawler crane is consisted of several parts: lever, pulley, wires, cables, hydraulic cylinders etc. These elements are responsible for the creation of mechanical advantage that is essential for lifting heavy loads and moving them from one place to another. A mechanical crawler crane consists a horizontal beam, or lever, pivoted around a point called fulcrum. The working principle of the lever allows heavy loads and materials that are attached to the shorter end of the lever to be lifted by applying small force in the other end of the lever.
